Leeds has a total student population of more than 200,000 and was recently voted the best place to drink in England by the Observer. How can a bar stand out in a very crowded marketplace? We know full well that karaoke is not about being a professional singer. Who doesn’t fancy themselves as Robbie Williams or Madonna after a couple of pints, but sadly some people are just shockingly bad. No one wants to take the mic and then accidentally crucify a classic. From this insight, a controversial student campaign was born.
